Fibershed

Fibershed develops regional fiber systems that build soil and protect the health of our biosphere by expanding implementation of carbon farming; forming catalytic foundations to rebuild regional manufacturing; and through connecting end-users to farms and ranches through public education.

Funding supports Fibershed in continuing to cultivate the emergence of regional textile communities, rooted in diverse carbon-sequestering landscapes, that enliven connection and ownership of ‘soil-to-soil’ textile processes. Funds are used for community education, technical support in carbon farm planning and implementation, and to enhance market development and regional manufacturing capacity.
