Central California Environmental Justice Network (CCEJN)
The mission of Central California Environmental Justice Network (CCEJN) is to end environmental racism and achieve economic justice and health equity through sustainable regional solutions.
Funding purpose: “To maintain our two incubator farms – La Milpa de Fresno and La Huerta de Cantua Creek – so we can continue creating spaces for farmworkers and immigrants to grow food and steward land in ways that promote the health of our communities and our environment. We wish to sustain and expand the learning community that we have established, so that we can collectively shift the local food system to one that allows people who work the land to own the land and create livelihoods as gardeners, farmers, and land stewards who practice, live, and stand in the movement for a culture of health, harmony and respect for Earth and the natural environment.”
