Western Colorado Alliance
Western Colorado Alliance for Community Action brings people together to build grassroots power through community organizing and leadership development. We believe that right now, today, we have the ability and opportunity to create a future where engaged local voices are leading communities across Western Colorado that are healthy, just and self-reliant.
Funding Purpose: To build a food-sovereign Western Slope comprised of resilient regenerative agriculture systems that feed local people with local food. Funds will be used specifically to organize a series of learning events to support and facilitate learning across practitioners of soil health in Western Colorado while also surfacing systemic issues we can work to address at a policy level to create lasting change.
