Farm and Ranch Freedom Alliance
The Farm and Ranch Freedom Alliance (FARFA) champions independent family farmers and safeguards a healthy, resilient food supply for all Americans. We work to advance common-sense policies that strengthen local, diversified, and regenerative agricultural systems.
Funding purpose: FARFA is building a powerful, coordinated voice—farmers, ranchers, and consumers from across Texas and the broader Southwest—that can meaningfully shift federal policy in agriculture and food. This regional coalition has the potential to influence not only millions of acres in the Southwest, but also practices and policies that shape the nation’s entire food system.
Funds will be used to expand FARFA’s outreach capacity, allowing us to grow our base in Texas and throughout the region. This includes cultivating new partnerships in neighboring states and identifying—and overcoming—the systemic barriers that independent and regenerative farmers and ranchers face at the federal level.
