Organic Farming Research Foundation (OFRF)

“Farmer-led and science-based, Organic Farming Research Foundation (OFRF) fosters the improvement and widespread adoption of organic farming systems by cultivating organic research and grower education, and advocating for federal policies that bring more farmers and acreage into organic production. Through these efforts, we work to create a more resilient and sustainable agricultural system, and envision a world where regenerative organic farming is the leading form of agriculture that supports healthy and just people, ecosystems, and economies.”

Funding purpose: Help make OFRF’s vision a reality: a world where farmers and ranchers that build soil health through regenerative organic practices, increase resilience in our food system, and mitigate agriculture’s contribution to climate change have the resources and information they need to be successful. Funds are used to understand farmer and rancher challenges and address those needs through on-farm research, the creation of free grower educational resources, advocacy for increased public support of organic farmers and practices, and improve the public’s understanding of the ways regenerative organic systems are part of the climate solution.
