Land Core
Land Core is a 501(c)3 organization with a mission to advance soil health policies and programs that create value for farmers, businesses and communities.
Funding purpose: “Build the missing infrastructure, economic incentives, and policies that will make the rapid adoption of soil health possible, including systemic changes to the way risk is assessed and priced in agriculture, and the way soil health is valued and financed.
Funds are used to support Land Core’s general operating fund and policy program, including support for our Programs Manager and Senior Policy Advisor to expand outreach to lawmakers and other key stakeholders in agriculture and finance, socializing our Risk Model research findings and providing science-based, non-partisan policy recommendations and education that underscore the risk-reducing benefits of soil health.”
