Community Alliance for Agroecology

The Community Alliance for Agroecology (CAFA) works alongside the most impacted communities of the San Joaquin Valley to address the environmental injustices perpetuated by the food and farming system and to create solutions that foster ecological balance, public health, and economic equality in the region.

Funding helps strengthen CAFA’s collective capacity to build political power in agricultural communities as they work together to heal the fractured ecological systems of the San Joaquin Valley. Funds are used to support continued regional power-building efforts as well as emergent build a regional network of BIPOC-led farming and land stewardship projects across the Valley.
