California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF)

“CCOF advances organic agriculture for a healthy world. We advocate on behalf of our members for organic policies, support the growth of organic through education and grants, and provide organic certification that is personal and accessible.”

Funding supports the Organic Transition Program which partners with the Association of Land-based Agriculture (ALBA), California Farmlink, American Farmland Trust and Daily Harvest to provide wrap-around support for socially disadvantaged farmers who are expanding organic acreage on their farms. This four-year program will provide participants with funding to cover the three-year transition period, technical assistance, a peer- to-peer network, complete with farmer mentors and access to supply chains throughout the transition.
