The mission of the California Association of Resource Conservation Districts (CARCD) is to connect, serve, and champion the statewide network of Resource Conservation Districts. They do this by: linking RCDs in a strong, mutually supportive network working towards shared goals and resources; providing training, tools, and expertise to help RCDs achieve excellence; and by showcasing the relevance of RCDs and making their work visible to elected officials, conservation leaders, and the community at large.
Funding supports CARCD’s work creating an agricultural landscape that is more equitable, resilient, and part of the climate solution. CARCD is committed to building the networks that help serve the land and are in the process of reorienting their network around equity.
